What’s the composition of Bewley’s tea bags? Are they bleached, and how are they sealed?
Bewleys teabags are currently made from a mix of abaca, cellulose fibres and PLA. PLA is a plant-based bioplasticwhich is used to achieve the seal on the teabag and will breakdown to the naturally occurring compound lactic acid. None of the Bewley’s teabags are bleached.
What carrier do you use to ship the packages?
UPS is our preferred carrier. At times we have used USPS and FedEx for orders shipped to Hawaii and Canada.
Why do I need an account to place an order?
We require an account so we can give you the best possible experience before and after your purchase. With an account, you can:

Why has my account been temporarily locked after I tried to log in?

By limiting the number of failed attempts allowed within a set timeframe, we make it significantly harder for these attacks to succeed.
This type of protection is a widely adopted security standard across e-commerce platforms and is built into WooCommerce to ensure that your account, your data, and your peace of mind remain intact. The temporary lockout is not a punishment – it’s our way of stepping in and saying something doesn’t look right here, before any real damage can be done.
What should you do if you’ve been locked out of your account?
- Wait for the lockout period to expire, after which you can try logging in again.
- Use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page to reset your password immediately and regain access.
- If you believe your account has been targeted or compromised, please contact our support team right away so we can help secure your account.
We understand a lockout can be frustrating when it happens to you, but this layer of protection exists because the alternative – leaving your account vulnerable – is far worse. Keeping your account secure is a responsibility we take seriously.
How do I report items that were damaged in transit or contact you if the wrong items were shipped?
This is not the part of the shopping experience anyone plans for – whether your order arrived looking like it was dropped in transit, or you opened the box to find something that definitely wasn’t what you ordered, we want to make it right.
