Kilbeggan Chocolate Chip Irish Oat Cookies
$9.25
The Lalor family’s beloved oat cookie recipe from Ballard Organic Farm in County Westmeath has been passed down through generations – and this version takes it somewhere irresistible. Dark Belgian chocolate chips, made with real cocoa mass, cocoa butter, and natural vanilla, are folded into every buttery, crispy cookie for a treat that’s earned a devoted following on both sides of the Atlantic.
The chocolate here isn’t an afterthought. Belgian dark chocolate is prized for its depth and richness, and at 8.5% of the recipe it delivers just enough bittersweet intensity to complement – not overpower – the nutty warmth of certified organic Irish oats and unrefined muscovado sugar.
As with all Kilbeggan cookies, the oats are certified organic, grown on the Lalors’ own farm without pesticides, herbicides, or artificial fertilisers.
Crispy rather than chewy, buttery rather than sweet, and stocked with chocolate that even self-described chocolate snobs rave about – these Kilbeggan Chocolate Chip Irish Oat Cookies are a serious upgrade to your tea break.

All though this was not our favorite of the 3 we ordered. It still have the robust flavor that one will love. Sister took a box and told me I was insane for not liking it as much as the Mint Chocolate Chip!!!!!
It still made it to the for Sunday Brunch and was enjoyed by all! Still absolutely worth the purchase.

While I prefer a chewy chocolate chip cookie (rather than a crisp biscuit), the chocolate they use is out-of-this-world good (and I consider myself a bit of a chocolate snob 😂)

I am a bit of a chocoholic so I had to buy the chocolate chip version of these biscuits and I am delighted I did. That little chocolate just adds to the taste for me which still has that strong buttery and oaty flavour to it. The fact that the ingredients are natural from a local organic farm is great too.
